Hi am going to DLP in a couple of days (subject to my tonsilitis clearing up:headache: ) and I was planning on taking my Uggs and a pair of trainers, but could it snow???? If so, would wellies be better?? Daft question I know, but I don't want to take up precious packing space in my suitcase!! What do you experts suggest?!?! Thx

Hi, I usually take my uggs and another warm pair of waterproof boots. I did take trainers one year and my feet froze. You can buy warm liners for wellies.
If you wear your uggs then you're only putting one pair of boots in your suitcase.:thumbsup2

I brought boots like uggs but with a thicker sole and runners. Think i wore the runners once. Would bring uggs and a pair of waterproof boots if going again.

All of my jeans got destroyed there...seems to be the white stuff they put on the ground to stop you slipping, well when it meets wet jeans and dries, it goes white and rockhard, soooo not a good look :rotfl:

With the amount of walking you will do I am not sure wellies would be comfortable. I have worn leather boots in the winter with thermal socks.

It has been snowing there recently so you maybe should be prepared for cold.

Well we had snow and ice last week so be prepared! You need to make sure your feet are comfy. I wore my Croc boots (waterproof, warm and comfy) and had lovely toasty and comfy feet. My DD wore her furry Roxy boots and also had lovely toasty and comfy feet. However, we were lucky it wasn't too wet as her boots would have soaked through. We did have heavy rain one night but were only going to the Village and dried them by the heater overnight.

I really hope it snows when we are there in 9 days.

I'm taking my snow boots with me that I take on snowbaording holidays. They are like really warm, waterproof trainers :thumbsup2

snow boots for me (and snow clothes too lol) but also trying to get a pair of hiking boots/shoes type thing......

I wore my uggs,a nd they were great.... accept i nearly fell on my *** a few times, as the floor soo slippey! I dont mind for me.. as i was able to keep balance, but over in discovery and the studios where floor is really slippery, i didnt hold baby when walking... I would choose shoes with very strong grip for ben next time! just thought i would mention!!

I am a bit dubious about taking my uggs as I dont want them rained on as I can;t afford another pair!!

But I'll take them and also my luminous pink moon/snow boots I bought off ebay. They are quite a sight but very warm and waterproof and comfy. :)

Wil also be packing pretty shoes (read: very impractical) for the nights we're eating in the DLH and I only have to cope with indoor walking. :)

I think I'll leave my new ugg boots at home. Just bought them from USa as they don't sell those in UK so really don't want to destroy them... I think I'm wearing my Crocs wellies, they're great, comfy and very warm.

And maybe will bring my snow boots in case it's freezing cold and it snows...

Hmmmm, decisions!

Can you tuck trousers into crocs wellies?

Do they look ok??

You can tuck trousers in Crocs wellies. They look ok and tbh I don't care how they look as long as my feet are dry:rotfl: The plastic is quite hard but still nice to wear.

I didn't think they'd be comfy let alone be warm but my toes are always warm which never happened when I wore other wellies.

These are the ones I have:

Crocs Nadia look fab! They look very warm and the inside has furry lining.

Mine are just wellies, don't have the furry lining but they're still very warm. I wear them with normal socks, not thick ones and it's ok.
