Suggestions

This will be my family's first trip to Disney World. We all love to ride the rides. We are going to get a 3 day pass, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to plan what we do and see.

You can go to the library and pick up a copy of The Unofficial Guide that will give you detailed information on all the rides at all the parks, that way you can figure out what rides you want at which park, what your family loves to do!!

The Travel Channel has been running shows on Walt Disney that gives a good look at some of the attractions like at MGM Fantasmic Show, Tower of Terror, and Rock N Roller Coaster ride, the 3D movies... there just is so much to list - and everybody will have a different opinions!!

You can then check out www.touringplans.com also again, there is soo much information out here... www.allearsnet.com is a wealth of knowledge, you can click on dining find all the menus to all the parks, and a price guideline too!!

Three days will be VERY tight for a first trip, especially if you are going during the summer. If it's at all possible, I would try to extend your trip. If you can't, then do as much research as you can before and DON'T try to see everything. You'll never get it all in! Just choose your must-see items and plan carefully. Stay on site and utilize early and late entry as much as you can.

It depends on the park. All parks have buses between them and some also have boats or monorails. You can also get between the on-site resorts and each park in these methods. There are a FEW you can walk between (mostly in the Epcot area) but that's rare. All transporatation is included in your park admission, and parking is included if you are staying on site (if you have a car). The general rule is to give yourself an hour to get between parks. It doesn't always take that long, but it can.
