I'm kind of new to this board. I say "kind of" cause I've been reading for a couple of years, and only recently started to post :)

I'm planning my April 2010 reservations and I must have changed them 4 times already. We're going as a party of 10 and I am trying to add some new restaurants into our plan.

I already have reservations for:
Coral Reef
Safari Grand Gathering -New for all of us
Mama Melrose/Fantasmic -New for one member of our party
Sci-Fi
Akershus -new for 5 members of our party

I have Boma booked but I'm not sure if I want to keep that. I have never eaten there, but since we're doing the Safari grand gathering at Tuskar House, I may cancel that and add something else in it's place. It will be for my Magic Kingdom day.
I've narrowed it down to:
Liberty Tree Tavern
1900 Park Fare
Whispering Canyon

I've heard the 1900 and Whispering Canyon are very loud. I would LOVE to see the step sisters and Lady Tremaine, though. Or just keep Boma????

I've never been to any of the above, so if anyone has a preference or something entirely different that I haven't thought of???? This is my 9th trip to Disney and I'm usually just in charge of my little family of 5, but now I have an additional 5 people to take care of. No one really cares, they all "trust me"....LOL...

Thanks!

Glad you finally joined, the Dis'ers have been a great help to me.

I can advise that we loved WCC! It is DH's favorite place to eat. We didn't find it to be that loud, but it is entertaining. Not sure how a big group would be though, it was only me and DH.
The food is good and the WL is something to see.

Hope others can give you some input. Have fun on your trip!

I would do Liberty Tree Tavern...we really liked our lunch there. We hated WCC and waited over 35 minutes past our ADR time (which was 5:15), had terrible service, terrible food (DH got sick) and were there for over two hours and we never even bothered with dessert; there is no guarantee that your table will be "involved" in the antics if they even have them. We'll never go back and even if the food was "decent" or the service "good", don't think it worth spending so much time at when we can be in the parks (none of our other meals have ever been that long).

Hi! If it were me, I would go to LTT. I enjoyed the food there and it will give you more time in the park. Whatever you decide - have a great time!

i would definitely go w/a restaurant in or near MK. any of the listed would be a great choice!:yay:

We did not like WCC, not at all. And we tried it 2 separate times. Food was nasty IMO, very greasy.

1900 PF is an absolute favorite of ours, the entertainment is ridiculously fun! Food is good as well, we love the prime rib slices with horseradish sauce and the strawberry soup!:thumbsup2 Also, with a large group like yours, a buffet might just please everyone!

Liberty Tree Tavern is good as well, we've had both lunch and dinner there. If you're in MK then this would be a good bet if you don't want to lose park time. However, if you don't mind leaving MK for dinner, I'd definitely go to 1900 PF. You could take the boat launch over to the GF. When dinner is over and if you want to return to the MK, the monorail from the GF is literally about 2 minutes. :goodvibes
