Hi, we are thinking of taking our almost 5 year old daughter in November, I am looking for suggestions on character meals and any suggestions for 5 year old's.

Thank You, Susan Y

How do you get the ticker factory off? We did not get to go on that trip-heehee.

Thanks, Susan

We are taking our 5 year old for the first time at the end of October. We are doing Crystal Palace, Princess Storybook dining (Akerhaus), Chef Mickey's, Liberty Tree Tavern, and we have a lunch ressie @ CRT, but am thinking of cancelling it.

For our girls, anything with princesses! We have done Cinderella's Royal Table each trip, and will probably do it again because our girls like it so much - we feel like they will only believe for so long, so we will take advantage of it as long as we can. We also like the Princess Sotorybook breakfast. For non-princess, Crystal Palace is good if she likes Pooh, and Chef Mickey's is pretty good for clasic Disney.

To get rid of your ticker, go to User CP towards the top of the page, then click on edit signature. From there highlight your ticker, delete, then save changes. Hope that helps!

I would recommend a breakfast your first morning in the Magic Kingdom at the Crystal Palace. The characters are Eeyore, Tigger, Piglet and of course Pooh. The food is buffet style... and it is one of the best character meals around.

Why I really suggest it? If you can get there for an ADR of 8:15 you can walk down Main Street U.S.A. with little to no people around and be one of the first families in the park. If you also time it right you will be there for the Rope Drop to the Magic Kingdom.

I just think its neat to get your picture in front of the castle without 100's of people all around!:goodvibes

What about the Wonderland Tea Party at the Grand Floridian? It's a children's only event. The kids have a fancy tea with sandwhiches, fruit, and cupcakes. (The table settings are so cute!) The kids even get to play games with Alice and the Mad Hatter. It was a real highlight for my four year old on our last trip. They also do other great kid's events like a Pirate Cruise and a cooking class.
