Hello everyone, I am hoping to get some feedback from you all!

We will be celebrating our Vow renewal in January at 2 pm, and I want to set up a PS at a restaurant for our guests for dinner. We will have 7- 9 people. I know I am past the window for first reservations, so availability may be an issue and I may not get my first choice. The vow renewal is at the Poly. Here are our choices, in order of preference:

California Grill
Narcoosee's
Jiko

In the event that these are not available, do you have any suggestions for an alternate? Things to consider are:

- Nothing in the parks
- I would like to do it somewhere which shows the best of WDW, because my inlaws are picky and have never been there
- I love the boardwalk area but don't know any nice restuarants around there, so suggestions are welcome
- We don't like Ohana

Thanks so much for your input!!!
Noelle

I don't know what your budget is, but Maddiesmum had a beautiful dinner in Chef's Domain, the private room in Narcoosies i think? Find her TR and she has lots of info about it in there. A wonderful end to your VR.

Are you doing your VR at Sunset Point? I love that location! it's so beautiful and peaceful!!

Chef's Domain would be perfect for the size of your group, but it's at Citricos, which isn't on your list.

When booking for a larger party, you may be required to take the earliest (5:30) or latest (9pm) seating at the restaurant you choose. If you only have 7, this may not be the case, but I just wanted to give you a heads up.

Flying Fish is the nice restaurant at the BoardWalk. Getting there from the Poly on Disney transport might be tricky, though, because there are not resort-to-resort buses, so you'll have to change at a theme park.

Do you have a budget?

The best of wdw is Victoria and Alberts at the GF). It is central Florida's only 4 star and it is wonderful, beautiful and romantic which means it is also very expensive. I know a few people who have had a recption there. but you do not have a private room. The room is so formal and intimate I do not think it matters.

Otherwise I would say Cali Grill or Citricos. I love Jiko but it could be a transoportation nightmare if you are not having private transport.

Here is Yearbook50 trip report...she used V&A's

Also I just though around the Boardwalk area there is Flying Fish even though the food is amazing and it is a signature the places is more of a "fun" place.

At the Swan there is Bluezoo which is very nice and they have a small private area that could be nice.

Also, Victoria & Albert's has a private room you can use, and at a fairly reasonable price, considering the quality of the food and the price of other private rooms at WDW restaurants!

It fits up to 21 people. The seating is at 6:30pm in the summer and 5:30pm or 9:30pm in the winter. To reserve the room for one seating the food & beverage minimum is $2,000 for up to 12 people ($165/each for additional people). To have the room for both seatings, the minimum is $3,000 for up to 12 and $165/each for additional people.

I'm having a meal after my wedding at the Portobello Yacht Club. When i ate there before the food was amazing and they make the best chocolate milkshake - its like a sundae :thumbsup2
