Suggestions regarding "fat clothes"

Thanks PaDisMom - I know absolutely nothing about alterations.

I'd say you should give/sell the fat clothes ... otherwise, you won't have any room in your closet for all the new clothes you buy :)

Okay. Mostly everyone says to "ditch the fat stuff." So, that's what I am going to do (whether charity or ebay).

I am going to keep my good suits and have them altered. I have green and purple label ralph lauren suits that I will not want to sell.

I will also keep the biggest pair of pants I can find and keep them for a year. Then I want to take a picture of myself in them!!!!

For laughs....

Also, I love the idea of a wine sleeve, very crafty!

Thanks, L

An Update.

Just spent 1/2 hour last night on my closet and took away 3 shopping bags worth of clothing. Many with price tag still on them.

What a refreshing feeling to know that my closet is getting skinnier.

I also realized that although I am happy with 23 lbs. off of me, I am probably going to have more clothes packed away at 40 or 50 lbs. loss.

What was your number (of lbs. lost) when you were raiding your closet for clothes that fit?

Good for you, Laura!!! Doesn't it feel great to have all of the 'big' clothes out of your closet?! I know I felt better with a few things hanging in my closet, than with a pile of clothes that were too big to wear anymore. :cutie:
