I need some advice...We were planning to go to Disney on Sunday, October 2nd, but since the free dining will end on October 1st, I need some advice....Here's my problem. My daughters and I can go to Disney on Saturday, the 1st, but my husband cannot come until Sunday. It's about $300 or $1,000 cheaper than what we currently have booked at Beach Club (300 cheaper at Boardwalk Villas and 1,000 cheaper in just a regular room at Boardwalk). So, can we do this? Can my husband wait and come on Sunday and still get free dining, or am I just better off staying with what we have?

So long as he's on the booking, he can come Sunday so long as the lead guest checks in. Every guest doesn't check in.

He might have to use something other than Magical Express if that was in your plans, but if you're saving $1000, that seems possible.

Thank you! I didn't want to do something dishonest.

It's doable. I would do it. I believe he still can use magical express too! I would do it for the discount! Enjoy.

Sounds like a no brainer to me - gain a day at WDW and pay less - you might ask over in the transportation forum, but I think as long as your husband provides his flight info. he should be ok taking DME even arriving the day after the rest of you.
What size villa are you considering @ BW?

One bedroom villa

It's so nice to have the extra space in the 1 br. villas. The BC w/ SAB is great, as is having 2 beds and it's very close to Epcot. But at BWV having the king size bed in the master bedroom, 2 TVs, washer/dryer and all that space makes for a more relaxed visit, IME. I've slept on the sleeper sofa in the livingroom area and it was comfortable.
I'm sure you'll have a great trip which ever you choose.

Yes, you can absolutely do this. He can get DME as well. When you give Disney your flight info for DME, simply let them know he is arriving on a different flight and they will take care of it for you.
