Suggestions Please .. (for cheap things to do)

Looking for inexpensive (ok, free) things to do for my niece and her BF to do. They're not really interested in the parks (mostly due to price) but want to do PI and a water park.

I read another post for suggestions, which left me with a few ??

Where do you get the books for the hidden mickeys?
Can you see animals at AK for free (or maybe from an establishment that serves adult beverages?
Is the bus the only transportation to AK?

Visit the AKL and you will be able to view some animals in the Savannah viewing areas.

Is the bus the only transportation to AK?

Unfortunately, the answer is YES. There is no monorail or boat to AK.

Another fun thing is to check out the boardwalk area near Epcot at night. It's always fun to walk around and see all the activity.

Seeing the resorts is a great thing to do. I'd recommend Wilderness Lodge and AKL (to see the animals - don't go around 2. They bring them inside for a checkup around that time.

The Beach Club / Boardwalk area is another favorite. Make sure to try a sundae at Beaches & Cream. You can ride the boat to MGM and walk back next to the waterway - very relaxing.

From the Beach Club, you can take the bus to MK and ride the boats around Seven Seas Lagoon. I love to hang out on the beach at the Polynesian. Take a boat to Fort Wilderness and see the free small petting zoo. The buffet lunch at Trails End is a bargain by Disney standards.

Stop by the Polynesian's beach around 9pm to watch the Electric Water Parade while sipping a cool adult beverage....Ahhh I just love vacation at Disney!
