Suggestions on pre-cruise plans welcome

I've been lurking a long time, I think I should finally post a little

Okay, I am trying to plan a romantic escape for my significant other and myself. We are going over my Brithday and are thinking of taking the 7Night Western cruise departing on the 3rd. We want to arrive on the second and spend the night at WDW. I am thinking of La Nouba for our entertainment the evening before. I want it to be special and I am not sure which resort to stay at. Money is a concern since I am paying for the cruise for both of us. As mush as I would love to stay int he Contemporary I jsut dont think I can swing it. We will probably use the DCL Transport, so I am wondering if a Moderate Class resort would be best.

Also, how can I make the cruise enjoyable for us, a 22 and 19 year old. I know there is the package they do, but I dont drink and obviously 19 is not legal to

Don't hesitate to try a moderate for one night. The all-stars and Pop Century are all great. You could also try one of the DTD hotels (Marriott Courtyard or others) and maybe save a few $$ and be within walking distance of La Nouba (a great choice and great show). DTD would also give you loads of fantastic dining options.

You won't have to do a thing to make that cruise extraordinary, DCL will take care of that! Cirque is awesome, a great way to spend the nite before. I'm not sure what month you're going, but if SSR is open you may want to see about renting points from a DVC owner for that night before and staying there. Boat, walk to DTD and Cirque. Enjoy!
