Suggestions on getting a non-Disney person to cruise on DCL???

If she HATES Disney she isn't going to like this cruise no matter what you do. The best you will be able to do is confine her to the adult areas, book her into Palo some nights and keep her away from Animators Palate and the Royal restaurant.

If you don't have any kids and you want to take her on a cruise, try a different line.

I'm looking for encouragement to get my DH's parents to come sail wits step-dad is 'onboard' but his mom hates all things Disney and disowning her is not an option;) She use to live in Orlando and, as I said, dislikes all things Disney. We told her she doesn't have to partake in the Disney side of it, but I thought someone else might have had a similar experience and might have some ideas!! It's challenging since we love Disney!! tia

Talk about the wonderful non-Disney-themed Quiet Cove and the amazing Serenity Bay at Castaway Cay for adults only. And the non-Disney-themed 18+ restaurants PALO and Remy (don't introduce her to Ratatouille ever), and the non-Disney-themed bars, and the non-Disney-themed Cove Café. And go on excursions!

DH and I tried a Day Pass at the Spa, wine tasting class, mixology class and went to see movies at the theater (they show movies that are well suited for adults).

When the cruiseship leaves PC, we go on our balcony and try to spot dolphins instead of watching the Sail Away show...

Why exactly does she hate Disney? Is she ethically against Disney as a large corporation? Does the sight of Mickey Mouse imagery make her scowl? Does she just not like Disney because she equates the word with crowded, hot theme parks and long days spent navigating said theme parks with no time for resting? My boyfriend isn't a huge Disney fan. He likes Epcot to an extent and he loves hanging at the resorts but doesn't really like the other parks. He isn't a fan of rides or crowds, but he appreciates nice resorts with interesting themes. DCL is a totally different experience than WDW. But, if she is ethically against Disney or just hates the very sight of anything Disney related, I doubt you'll be able to convince her to go on a Disney cruise. You'll be reminded of the mouse everywhere onboard.
