This will be our first time statying at the Beach Club. Does anyone have any suggstions on room requests for the Beach Club?. We will have a standard room.

I am interested in this, too. Our first ever Disney trip is in October, and wondering if sending a fax really does work for room requests. I'll be traveling with my 73 year old father and would like something close to the lobby/entrance. I am also concerned about the SMALL bathrooms. While my father is very healthy, he IS 73 and mauvering in those tiny bathrooms worries me. However, I don't want to risk taking a handicapped room from someone who REALLY needs it.

We were there last year and had a great location (after requesting to be moved).

First, know that the BC has balconies that are for standing only. So, if a full balcony is important to you, request it.

Also, know that several BC rooms actually overlook a very ugly large roof.

We also put a request to be close to the lobby area. We ended up on the second floor about 4 rooms down the hallway. This worked great because there is an open staircase in the lobby to the second floor and it was so easy just to go up those stairs and down a few yards straight to our room. We faced towards the BC Villas and a grassy area. If you want to be close to the lobby, this would be a great area to request.

Our first room was not a good location. It was smoking (requested non), looking over the roof with a standing room only balcony and you had to walk down several different hallways to get to it. It was exactly the opposite of our requests. We were checking in at 7:00 pm on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend so I'm sure that is all that was left. I have to say they were very nice and accomodating about moving us the next day and giving us a great room. So, if you have a big problem with your room, just politely discuss it with them and I'm sure they will try to help you out if possible.

ok I am staying at Yacht Club..we have water view and requested a KIng size...are all king size handicapped rooms? We stayed at Boardwalk last year and we ended up with a handicap room...no bathtub! I should have asked for a new room but it was my first time and I was just so happy to be there:)

So are king size rooms only handicap (only shower) rooms?
