I am SUCH a DL newbie....I am so trained in the ways of WDW ADR calling out 180 days for reservations that i feel like i am waiting too long to make DL dining reservations! What is the normal time you can make PS for Dl restaurants ??( we are going in Oct. staying on site at the GCH, if that matters)
ALSO: would anyone be able to tell me which crazy Monte' Cristo is better..BB or Cafe Orleans ( is that the name?) ..pics of the cafe orleans one look scrumptious with that jelly on the side, i wonder if the BB one is as good??
THanks for the help DL experts! :goodvibes

At DL, PS can be made 60 days in advance I believe. I cant tell you which is better regarding the Monte Cristo, but I did read somewhere that they are the same. Dont know if that is true though. I never ordered it becuase it is like $22 at BB, and I didnt know they served it at Cafe Orleans for $16. I am getting one of those this trip!!

PS requests can be made 60 days out at DLR.

The Monte Cristo is the same at BB and Cafe Orleans. However, they have a meatless option at CO and a breakfast Monte Cristo on their menu as well.

Generally at DL you can get just about anything you want even if you wait to book it 10-14 days in advance. I've gotten same day priority seatings at several restaurants, too. But that's not the really popular things like Blue Bayou (though I've done that one a couple days in advance) or Goofy's Kitchen, or the Princess meal at Ariel's Grotto. I don't really know how much in advance you'd need to book those.

I'd just like to say that the Monte Cristo French Toast at Cafe Orleans (breakfast) is pretty nasty. Too much icky gelatinous cheese. I won't be doing that again. My breakfast favorites are the Mickey Mouse pancakes from River Belle Terrace (and I really don't like pancakes that much!), or just about anything from Carnation Cafe.

Totally agree--the first plate they brought out the cheese hadn't even melted; the second plate (after I sent the first back) was just --ehhhh--and too much powdered sugar. I'll stick with the Creole Eggs Benedict--now THAT was delish!

Probably silly question but, I assume that you need to call and make reservations each day for each day of your trip if you are doing it 60 days out or can you just call 60 days from the first day of your trip and make them for all the days you will be down there?
