Going to WDW Jan 25-Feb1 with DD5 and DD2.
We purchased the dining plan and have the following ADR's:
Crystal Palace Character Dinner
Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast
Whispering Canyon Dinner
Princess Storybook Diner at Akershus
Mama Melrose's for Dinner
Chef Mickey for Dinner
I have one TS left and my DH thought maybe a big breakfast the day we leave. Does anyone have any suggestions???
Thanks!!!!!

Crystal Palace does a nice breakfast buffet, but Chef Mickey's is also high on our list and would be a good choice if you're not wanting to use a park ticket that day...... You could try allearsnet to check menus to see what interests the two of you.

I second the vote for 'Ohana character breakfast. You're getting to see the princesses twice and going to Crystal Palace already. We did 'Ohana's character breakfast on the last day of our last vacation and it was a nice way to wrap things up.

I tried Crystal Palace breakfast for the first time last August on a trip with just my DS (I had been there for both lunch and dinner and really enjoyed it). I liked it so much that when I went back in October I went to breakfast with DD (I took her 2 days before DH & other 2 children joined us) and again with the whole family later in the week and we also went to CP for dinner one night.

I've never been to Chef Mickeys so I can't compare but I did like CP much better than Ohanas. I really liked that not only did they have an omlet station but you could also order eggs fried anyway you liked. My kids don't like scrambled eggs (available on most buffets) so it was really nice to get them an egg the way they liked.

If you get an early sitting you can walk up a nearly empty Main St and then be done with breakfast when the park opens.

I want to try Cape May Cafe's breakfast sometime next year too.

My suggestion would be to change the Chef Mickey from dinner to the "breakfast" you want and make reservations for O'hana's when you plan on Chef Mickey. At dinner O'hana's has coconut/broom races and hoola hooping, which is fun for the kids and "different" from your other meals, and although it's pretty split in opinions, I think Chef Mickey's breakfast is better than the dinner. You'll find many that disagree, but the fun special atmosphere of Chef Mickey, will also be a wonderful way to end your vacation.

If you don't care about characters I would try Kona Cafe at the Poly. :flower:

Cape May was outstanding for breakfast. :Pinkbounc

where are you staying and what time is your flight? will you have your own car/rental or rely upon DME? all those dynamics would enter into my suggestions...

We are staying at AS Movies and our flight is at 6:20pm. We do not have a car - we are relying on DME. Thanks for your thoughts. :goodvibes

We loved Boma and liked Donald's Breakfastsaurus. We weren't impressed with the Princess Storybook Breakfast. We are going to be trying Crystal Palace for breakfast in 2 weeks. We love dinner there and it looks like their breakfast gets a lot of good recommendations. We made sure not to book a TS breakfast and TS dinner on the same day for our upcoming trip. We did so in August and felt like we spent way too much time in restaurants (at least an hour each TS meal, most times an hour and a half). We felt like we really missed out on the least busiest time of the park in the morning by being at breakfast. We did book PSB at 8:05 and did not get out of there until almost 10:00. W.e had 2 characters miss us and we had to wait until they finished their entire room round to come back to us. This time we booked only CP for breakfast, before park opening, and on a day we aren't doing a TS dinner.

i would definitely head for 'ohana... it's a great breakfast... the poly is a great resort to spend a few minutes in... you can get in one last monorail ride (ask to "drive" up front!)... it's a great way to end a vacation :)

I definitely recommend Donalds Breakfastosaurus. Buffet style food but they have anything and everything you can think of! Character interaction is good and we have always had excellent service here. This is our only must do every single trip!

Thanks to all who have responded - you all have great ideas - unfortunately I cant do all of them but that is all the more reason to plan Family Vacation to WDW #2.

THANKS!!!!!
