My family, 16 of us all together, will be spending the Thanksgiving holiday at Disney. Any suggestions for where to find a traditional meal to accomodate ages 1-61?????
Cape May Cafe Buffet at The Beach Club Resort.
Stay out of the parks, avoid the masses of people and YES, that means not going to Liberty Tree Tavern where everyone else will suggest you go. LOL!!
We have been twice over Thanksgiving Day. Year before last we did Thanksgiving at the Fort (usually Mickey's Backyard BarBQ) for lunch. Last Thanksgiving we did Chef Mickey's for dinner. Both served traditional Thanksgiving meals. We were satisfied with both. PM me if you have any questions.

I too am going during Thanksgiving this year. Right now I am leaning towards Chef Mickeys. Did they just do the traditional turkey and stuffing thing or did they a bunch of other stuff as well. Thanks for any tips!

We are seriously considering doing out Thanksgiving Dinner at Cape May Cafe. Did they offer the traditional "turkey and sides" on the buffet, as well as their usual buffet items?
I was there (CAPE MAY) twice for Thanksgiving 2004, 2006. They had everything you would want for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, plus many of their regular seafood items. Many dessert choices, also.
Closer to the day, you should be able to find the MENU online- if not here, then another site. I loved spending the time there- we got there about an hour early just to walk around the resort and relax. We took a stroll outside afterward, too.
Lots of good choices to suit that many people but be advised that most places will offer a "Traditional Thanksgiving dinner" as their fare for the day/evening. I would look at 60-90 days out and take a look at the menu first.
The sad part is most places turn into the Liberty Tree Tavern for one day, lol.
We love (loved) WCC in the past. It was terrible for Thanksgiving, however. We had a group of 14. Terrible service, icky food. We enjoy their normal skillet much better.
Many restaurants do a traditional thanksgiving dinner option on their menus for that day. We have eaten with several large groups for T-day dinners. We always stay out of the parks on that day. We've done Cape May which does the traditional T-day meal plus their usual seafood buffet. We were seated close together but not all together. We have also done YC's restaurant (cannot not think of the name, but not the Yachtsman one) Anyway they also had a buffet and were able to seat 22 of us at ONE table!! SO cool! BTW, their food was great and they had this amazing pumpkin soup. We have also eaten at Spoodles with some in our group getting the traditional turkey meal and others going for Spoodle favs. They seated our group of 12 at one table.
You really have to be on the phone with them AS SOON as the reservation window opens. So, on day 180 +10, or whatever it is now, be on the phone to Disney Dining first thing in the morning.
I did this last year and was on hold from 7am to 7:10am, on the first day I was able to make reservations. Finally, at 7:10am the only reservations they had available were Coral Reef and Tony's on Main Street. I only inquired about the parks.
We ended up taking our chances and walked into the Rainforest Cafe for T-giving dinner. The food was bad but the kids enjoyed it. DTD was fairly busy on T-giving day but not nearly the mob scene at the parks.
We're going to LTT for lunch at 11:30 and then getting the heck out of the MK. The guys in our group are taking the MK Train Tour that morning. We will meet up with them for lunch and head back to our resort for a relaxing afternoon.
