My fiance and I are going over New Years Eve, and it's the first time he's EVER been to Walt Disney World. I'm making it my mission to make it really special and line up some surprises for him, but I'm not sure what to do! I was thinking about having Peggy's Sweets and More make a basket for him for when we get there, though I'm not even sure what to put in the basket. It's been 14 years since I've been there, so I'm a little lost on what I should do... :confused3 Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! By the way, I'll be 24, he's 25 :)

TIA!

when i go for my honeymoon it will be DF's first time as well, and I plan on using peggy, and am not sure what i will put in teh basket yet either. she changes her stuff some so i am witing until it gets closer. where are you staying? We are going to the GF and i may have choc. covered strawberries or something like that in the room, too. Also, i may plan a specialty cruise or carraige ride. hope i steered you in the right direction! :goodvibes

She has so much stuff it's overwhelming! I kinda wish she would have like, basket examples of like "First timer" or "Romance" or "Birthday" and then a list of suggested products. It'd make my life easier that's for sure! :D

We're actually staying at Pop this time since we'll be doing a Land and Sea cruise for our Honeymoon and staying at Poly that time. He says this is so we don't rush around for 3 days trying to fit everything in brand new, I dont' believe him I think he has something up his sleeve ;) You'll have a blast at the GF though! Color me a bit jealous, I've always wanted to stay there! *giggles* Maybe someday though!

One of the cruises sounds like a good idea, I'll have to look into an Illuminations cruise or something similar... I already did ADRs for Coral Reef on New Years Eve which was like his ultimate wish to go to (He loves fish). Hopefully more will come to me! Thanks a bunch!

thats really funny, my DF who has never been to Disney is a HUGE fan of deep sea fishing, and so he saw a pic of coral reef and said we HAVE to eat there, and he doesnt care about anything else. thats too funny! i know there is a thread about illuminations cruises and people get on there and say they have room for so many people on a certain date, etc. and so maybe when it gets closer to yours you can check there and go in with someone else. good luck!

If he's into sports, you might take him for lunch one day at ESPN zone on the Boardwalk at BWI. The food is actually very good there and it's non-stop sports on the televisions throughout the place. I also enjoyed going to the Biergarten in Germany in Epcot. It's a german buffet and all the food was really good. The beer sampler was a great deal at $10. You can also go online and view the menus for most of the restaurants to help you decide where you want to book ADR's. I believe Allearsnet has all the menus. He might also enjoy doing the Richard Petty Driving Experience. My sister booked that for my BIL for his birthday and he had a blast.
