wow it is amazing to me how I have kept all these thought to myself and now I find out I am not the only one who does not like Gayle b/c she is riding on Oprah's coat tails. I mean what exactly is her claim to fame? I am still going with Sharon Osborne. I like her she is a nut but she is not so self centered that she will have a condescending air. I think Rosie will be like that. OH and Sharon Osborne DID have a gastric bypass and has never tried to hide it.

My choices? Sela Ward, Emma Thompson, Sharon Stone and/or Jamie Lee Curtis. These are smart, intelligent woman that would bring a solid perspective to the show. JMHO

I just have to say that Gail was an anchor on the nightly local news here in CT long before we knew she was Oprahs best friend. I guess I can say I knew here before the world knew here. She did have a career before Oprah.

Okay Jamie Lee Curtis is a stroke of genius. She is all for being REAL and I think she would work well in this situation. Too bad we do not run the network we have all the problems solved.
