We're going as a family in September. Myself, hubby to be, and our two kids 10yr old dd and 4yr old ds.
There will be one day that DS and Dad go to a waterpark and DD and I are going to do Epcot by ourselves.
DD is AWESOME to cook for. I love to try new things and she is always right there helping me make up recipes and cook.:)
She will try almost anything and really enjoys food. The only thing that neither of us eat is seafood (we're working on it but aren't too adventurous in that department).
So that being said I would like to have a special TS dinner with her.
We wouldn't have to stay in Epcot.. but that would be great too.
Does anyone have anything they would recommend?
All I have come up with so far is Chef's de France.
It's not things we would normally have , but looks yummy.
Any thoughts for a special mommy/daughter dinner?

Uh-Oh... I am not sure I put this in the right place.. feel free to move it:confused3

I would walk over to Spoodles for dinner. It's a beautiful walk and leaving the park may add to the sense of a mommy/daughter event!

Chefs de France is very elegant looking, and the food was fine, but the service was SO bad for us that I can't recommend it for one special night. You may wind up with a wonderful server, but our server was so bad that he ruined the whole night for our family.

Spoodles (IMO) has better and more adventurous food. It also had many wonderful servers, all of whom seemed to take a turn playing with and talking to my children.

I would go online to allears.net, click on dining, and check out the menus you get recommendations on, or look interesting to you. I think it is sometimes hard to make recommendations because everyone's taste and experience can be so different. The OP had a bad experience at Chef's de France; we went and had a great one, so you never know. Anyway, you'll find lots of great information on these boards and I'm sure your daughter will enjoy having special time with her Mom wherever you decide to go. Hope you have a great time!:)

I see that you mention a TS. And in EPCOT there are so many places my pick would be LE Cellier. But if you wanted to try a varity of things maybe you could walk around the EPCOT World and try something at each country. You could share a SC or a CS at each country.

How about Teppen Edo in Japan? If she enjoys cooking with you, the way they making cooking into a show might be really fun for you both. The other thing that isn't at Epcot, but might be seriously fun girl bonding time would be Tea at the GF. DD and I used to have tea parties all the time, and I still say if I was aware that the last tea party was the last tea party I'd have savored it just a bit more:sad1: !
