So I've done my research, and I've been to WDW 8 times, but my party and I only just started really focusing on the dining experience. We've done Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue countless times, and Prime Time 50s, Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe, and the Coral Reef. But what should we plan on trying during our 10 day vacation in June?
We tend to lean towards more American style foods, but are open to different cuisines.
If you have any suggestions for a party of 2 (adult and 16yr old), it would be appreciated!
Thanks!

well if you want to stay towards the american style food you can do the Wave at CR. Also Cape May is a good buffet. We have not been to the Liberty Tree as of yet but our friends really seem to enjoy it.

Don't know if you'll be on the dining plan or not...but if not- we LOVE T-Rex. It's a really fun atmosphere, and the food is surprisingly delicious. Ohana is also a favorite of ours. The food is a little bit different than, but still "normal" enough for those who don't want anything too exotic. Hope you have a great time! :flower3:

Liberty Tree Tavern in the MK is good. It's comfort food in historic theming.

We looked into the dining plan, but we figured with the CL, it wouldn't be worth it. We've seen T-Rex many times, but never thought about it!
Thanks to you both!
We also do enjoy Italian and some Chinese, but we haven't tried a lot of cuisines, so that's why I say typically American, but hey, no better time to expand one's horizons than on vacation!

Depending on whether you prefer to stay within the parks or not, we've grown very fond of Todd English's Blue Zoo at the Dolphin. It's quick boat trip or walk from Epcot, my 14 year old son loves the food as do we all! It's a nice change from the usual suspects.

We tried two new locations at our last visit in Dec 2009. The Spirit of Aloha LuAu at the Poly for dinner and Teppan Edo in Japan, Epcot. We adored both locations.

Teppan Edo was fantastic- the kids had a great time with the chef, the food was delicious (try the Chocolate-Ginger cake) and the restaurant was gorgeous!

The LuAu was something that we were so glad to have done, but wouldn't do for a second time due to the cost/dining credits. The show that goes along with it ran a bit too long (in our opinion), however, the food was fantastic and you can't beat the included beer! :rotfl:

Teppan Edo is good and fun at the same time
Liberty Tree Tavern is good comfort food
Yak and Yeti is also good
Mamma melrose is also good

Thanks everyone!! I can't wait to try some of these new places! Thank goodness we have 10 days!
And to all going on vacations soon, have a fabulous trip!

we love:

Kona
Boma
teppan edo
Jiko
Ohana
Le Cellier

I would highly suggest Kona, dont think you could go wrong with that choice!

My top 3 are Teppan Edo, Boma and the Kona Cafe

I also like 'ohana, Tutto Italia, House of Blues, and the Brown Derby
