I am taking my DD to WDW for her graduation gift. Beside that fact that she hasn't been to WDW for about 10 years she has vision issues. I would like those out there give me ideas about the lightning at the different resorts. She has problems with her night vision and low lit areas. She has RP. So we need to book a resort with fairly good nite lighting. I plan on bring a small flashlight too. But in the spring it does get dark still very early and don't want to curtail our activies any more than necessary.

What are your opinions regarding WL or CSR? I have stayed at both with my husband and did not remember about the lighting. I do remember that AKL was fairly dark at night even in the hallways between rooms.

Please give me your feedback on this. Any suggestions on resorts would be great. I am thinking of a mod or deluxe.

Thanks in advance.

I always liked the Beach Club, but any of the resorts on the "beach" in that area are situated so that there is no overgrowth of vegetation to interfere with available ambient outdoor lighting and the resort buildings are sunny and bright...as well as being conveniently situated. :thumbsup2

WL is very low lighing and while one of favorite might be the worst choice.

Definitely not AKL. Room lighting is dimmed, had to read in the loo!

I guess it's to keep with the theming of a safari camp and to avoid bright building lights disturbing the animals. I love the resort, but the room lighting leaves something to be desired.

AKL, Wl and Poly.. not good choices with low light vision issues
