Suggestions for New Pin Traders?

Pin Trading seems to be tricky to the new pin collector.

Just as an example. Would this be considered a fair trade? One pin has a retail value of 25.00 as opposed to 12.95 for the other.

The value of any pin, in the end, is how much you would pay/trade for it.

If the Splash Mountain pin is super important to you, the trade for the Walt jumbo pin might seem equitable to you.

However, I would not make this trade. IMHO, an LE 1000 non-jumbo might be reasonable, if I really wanted the Splash Mountain pin. At least the original purchase price would have been similar.
