Hi all!

My husband and I will be in WDW starting August 16 and leaving August 21st. Our flight is at 8:45 PM and so DME will pick us up at POR at 6:00. Since, DDP won't cover any of our meals that day, we are up for anything.

What suggestions do you have for a sit-down breakfast/brunch? Doesn't have to be a character breakfast either.

What about suggestions for lunch/early dinner?

We would need to start eating by 3:30 at the latest in order to make it back to POR by 5:30.

Thanks!!!!

You could go into the parks for half a day eat there and then come back to the hotel for DME to pick you up. Epcot is a nice relaxing park on the last day you could stroll around WS going into the different shops and films and eat something there when you get hungry. We usually check out and keep a bag for a change of clothes and hang out by the pool, I don't know if all the hotels have them but at the values they have a shower and changing room by the main pool, so we would shower and change and get something to eat before leaving. You could also and head over to downtown disney do a little shopping and grab a bite to eat there. Enjoy your trip! :) Linda

We just left WDW on Monday at 6:30PM. We went to Magic Kingdom in the AM and scheduled a late lunch at Kona Cafe at the Poly. It was not crowded and very relaxing before leaving for the airport. We just hopped on the monorail from MK to the Poly. It was perfect.

I am certain you can use the DDP until midnight of the day you check out. I know when we went in Jan '06 we had checked out and used the last of our CS credits for a late lunch at the resort before DME picked us up.

We did the same - had a 2 pm flight out. We "saved" a TS for an early breakfast that am, and a couple of snack credits to get stuff to eat on the plane ride home. Worked out great.

For a late breakfast I would go to Kona or Cape May

For a late lunch or early dinner I would spend my day shopping at DTD and then eat at WPE
