Suggestions for lunch around the Boardwalk area?

We are moving to the Boardwalk from the Gaylord Palms and would like to find a lateish lunch somewhere in the Boardwalk area. We could go into DHS or Epcot to eat as well. We are having a late dinner this same night at Rose and Crown so we wouldn't want a lot to eat. The lunch menu at Kouzzina doesn't look all that appealing to me. We've eaten at Big River Grill in Nashville and the ESPN club in Anaheim and weren't impressed enough to want to return to either of these places.

So should we try Kouzzina or are there good places for lunch at the Swalphin or the Yacht and Beach Club? Or should we just head on over to the WS or the Brown Derby at DHS for lunch?

You could go to Beaches and Cream at the BC; it shouldn't be too crowded at ~3pm.

The fish counter at UK is good although I see you are Rose and Crown for dinner. They give you 2 pieces of fish and some fries for ~$8. That way you don't have to order it for $16 later

Kringla Bakery at Norway is also decent for a sandwich. The bakery in France is good too for a baguette sandwich but the line is always so long.

Beaches and Cream or Hurricane Hannahs which is right outside on the boardwalk. They serve the same hamburgers that Beaches and Cream serve and there is outside seating.

Just for clarification, Hurricane Hannah's is poolside at the Beach Club not the Boardwalk

I would suggest the Cabana Bar at the Dolphin. Nice atmosphere by the pool and a good selection of appetizers since you're not looking for something too heavy.

I echo this recommendation. It's a fun and quiet place with light bar fare, sandwiches and such, and outdoors next to a pool. Good stuff.

I did not think Kouzzina was open for lunch. I really liked ESPN Club. ESPN Club gets terrible reviews everywhere except WDW and one other location (I can't remember the other one). There is also a pizza by the slice place on boardwalk, but I don't remember if they are open for lunch.

Sorry to be confusing but its on the boardwalk walkway right by the lake, you do not need to be in Stormalong Bay to get to it.

Also there is the Dolphin Fountain and Picaboos at the Dolphin

Also Captains Grill at the Yacht Club, maybe a salad or appetizers and dessert if you dont want a big meal etc.

I'll third this suggestion and also add that, as AirGoofy said, Kouzzina is not open for lunch. If it were, I would probably recommend it too.

Although I've never been there, I'd like to change my suggestion to Cabana Bar

If you have kids with you, Beaches and Cream. If all adults, Cabana Bar.
