Here is our current schedule & ADR scheduled. I need advise on what to do with the last two table service credits.

Arrival Day- (arrive appx 4:30 at POR-) Ressies for Chef Mickeys @ 8

Day 2 (MK day) after mid afternoon nap for DS3, Ressies for Concourse @ 5:30,
planning getting done in time for Wishes- then sending babysitter & DS3 back. DH & I staying for EMH

Day 3 (MGM & MCMCP) Ressie- Sci-FI 12:55

Day 4 (AK- low key day) Nothing decided-maybe Boatwrights back at POR- or parkhop to Epcot for Illuminations

Day 5 (Epcot) Wanted LeCellier- couldn't get dinner, settled for Spoodles @ 5:50

Day 6: Don't know which parks yet or any idea on meals.

As you can see I have two days completely undecided. We do have Park Hoppers so I do intend on doing some hopping. We have a very picky eater in our DS & we aren't too adventureous when it comes to food.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. (maybe a romantic meal for DH & I as we do have a sitter to take DS)

There's a Morrocan place in EPCOT Marakesh(?). I was there once, not for a romantic meal, but it was lovely, and would love to go there again just to enjoy a romantic dinner with DH :lovestruc

I can't recommend this from a personal experience...we will be eating there Oct 30...but how about LTT? I've heard it's basic Thanksgiving type food with great character interaction. :bounce:

Counting down...we will be in WDW 2 weeks from today

Could you get Le Cellier for lunch instead? We ate at both Le Cellier and Spoodles two weeks ago, and Le Cellier is WAY better! I'd settle for a lunch there.

Spoodles was very disappointing for us. I had read really good reviews but it just didn't hold up to them for me. The food wasn't that great and the service wasn't either. Maybe it was an off night? Don't know.

Have you thought about Ohana or Whispering Canyon? We ate at Ohana and it was really good and lots of fun. Our friends who traveled with us ate at Whispering Canyon and they LOVED it. I wish we would have eaten there instead of eating at BOMA that night. (We like BOMA, but we've eaten there before. This time around wasn't as good as the first time)

Depends where you end up. Here's where I would choose.
MK - Main Street Bakery or Chrystal palace... the food is always good and they have a separate kids food buffet
MGM - Brown Derby or 50's Prime Time
AK - Rainforest Cafe
Epcot - Fish n Chips or Garden Grill
We also love OHanna (but haven't been since they changed the menu) and Wispering Canyon... Oh and Beaches and Cream YUMM!

For your romantic dinner, what about Yachtsman Steakhouse or the Flying Fish?

Kona Cafe or the Grand Floridian Cafe might be good additions to your list.

As far as Spoodles goes, it is one of two places we always eat on every trip. We have never had bad service or bad food. We have ADRs for 2 meals on our Jan. trip.

You say you have a sitter, but if you do want to go somewhere upscale with your DS and the children's menu doesn't look promising, remember that just about every restaurant (at Disney and everywhere else!) will almost always make a grilled cheese sandwich for a child, or will give you a plain bowl of pasta (if there are any pasta items on the adult menu). They'll also help you make a meal out of bread-basket type items (my DS is 7 and thinks it's a super treat every now and again to go to town on bread and LOTS of butter!). As long as what you're asking for isn't complicated to make or uses expensive ingredients, you'll find they are pretty accomodating (even on the dining plan, since you're saving them money).
