Looking for a TS lunch at Epcot. There will be four of us - me, DH, DS7, and DD4. None of us are too picky and we like to try new and different things. We have done Akershus and Coral Reef before and would like to do something new. I currently have an ADR for Le Cellier, but want to do something that the kids will enjoy, too. Suggestions? TIA

Our favorite Epcot TS for lunch is Chef's de France. We have three boys, ages pre-school to pre-teen, and they all enjoy meeting Remy. While he is not guaranteed to appear (and I've read he's not there on Sundays) we've had good luck meeting him.

But even without Remy, we think it's a great lunch spot. It's not buffet or family style, so that keeps costs down. Two of our boys like the kids' menu - our middle son (a pre-teen) is relatively picky and thinks the mini burgers are great, and our youngest (a pre-schooler) enjoys the chicken nuggets. My husband, our oldest son (a pre-teen) and I like the adult mac and cheese, the quiche, the onion soup and the cheese plate. Everyone loves the bread.

The atmosphere is light and bright and we love getting a table near the front window so that we can see out into World Showcase. The service is quick (good for kids!) but not too rushed, and in our experience, has always been friendly.

Hope this helps a bit - happy planning! :wizard:

Try the Mexican Pavillion or perhaps Morocco - both have TS locations that are fun and themed to be fun for kids. I love LeCellier and while it is kid friendly it isnt necessary a "fun" enviroment

Teppan Edo. We ate there in August with our kids who were 15, 11, 10, 8 and 7 at the time. We all thought the food was great and the kids really enjoyed the show.

My kids loved both the food and the music (and dancing to it on the dance floor) at Biergarten. They also really enjoyed San Angel in Mexico - we sat right by the river and they waved to people going by on the boats throughout dinner. Ages were 4.5, 2.5 and 18 months on the trip.

We always eat lunch at Sunshine Seasons Food Court at the Land Pavillion, has a little bit for everyone.

I 2nd Teppan Edo. We ate at Marrakesh with the belly dancer and it was fun, but I really didn't enjoy my food that much. The cous cous was ok, but I wouldn't do it again.

My kids 9,7,5,3 had a blast at Biergarten. Via Napoli was good as well. They really liked eating Mexican overlooking the water.

Our whole family really enjoys Biergarten. It is a good thing the adults like it, because DD (almost 5) ranks it right up there with Princess meals. It is on her absolute must do list at WDW. She loves watching the German band, and there is a dance floor that the kids can get out on and dance during the show.

Wow - thanks everyone for your replies.:goodvibes
I had not thought of Teppan Edo or Biergarten as being so kid-friendly. Still trying to decide - We may change to one of these, or may compromise by keeping Le Cellier as a treat for the grown-ups and adding a character breakfast on a different day for the kids.

Can't beat the atmosphere of the San Angel (inside the Mexican pavillion). Volcano... stars, and babbling river.:cool1:

We like all these!!!

Garden Grill (dinner only) - Chip and Dale are funny... also Mickey and Pluto.

Marrakesh - music and belly dancing were fun. DS4 enjoyed it. Food good, some "normal" type food choices if thrown off by the idea that the food will be a little different than meat and potatos.

Biergarten - music and dancing. Buffet lots of choices

San Angel Inn - do the 3 caballeros boat ride, boats pass through the restaurant.

Chefs de France - time it so you can see Remy.

Another vote for San Angel...my nephews really enjoy sitting by the ride/river and watching for the wafts of smoke coming out of the pyramid to form a hidden Mickey!!

They had a mixed response to Teppan Edo, but they both enjoy Chefs de France. We have yet to try Biergarten (altho we did have some fabulous, HUGE brats in Germany last trip!)

They'd be fine at Le Cellier, it's just that there's less to look at in there. When youngest nephew was smaller, we used to take turns taking him outside to run off some energy. ;)
