Suggestions for first stay at Beach Club Villas

Looking for recommendations and info...We are staying in Feb 2011 the 6th thru the 11th at BCV in a Studio and looking for best location ...are there Studios that face the water or Epcot for fireworks? Any suggestions would be great!! We are DVC Members with home resorts at AKV and BLT, but this is our first stay at BCV.

There are studios that face the water in the quiet pool or the canal. (The Beach Club Resort - separate from the BCV- stands between BCV and the lake shared with the Boardwalk). "Woods view" rooms MAY have a view of the higher fireworks. Others here will tell you of the dreaded road noise possible in these rooms - we've never been bothered by it during several stays.

I liked our wooded view. It was private and we only saw one person entire week there from balconey. We were lucky we did not have road view. Cape May is great for dinner and we loved Beaches and Cream for their caramel sundaes.

Thanks for the great insights. My wife and I will be in a 1 bedroom at BCV Feb 10-13 2011 without the kids to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I've never stayed at BCV and would love to hear more opinions on which type of view/villa wing people have liked best. Any thoughts on ground floor patio vs. upper floor balcony?

We have never had a ground floor villa in during our BCV stays and am not sure we would like one. Our last stay had an EPCOT view and we were able to see high fireworks from Illuminations; road noise was not a problem. Enjoy your stay!

We had a ground floor 2 bedroom last year. It has a patio instead of a balcony. I liked the privacy & view of a balcony better. MIL & FIL liked being on the ground floor better though. This Feb looking for upper floors with pool view.
