Suggestions for dinner while at the Studios (not in the park)

Any suggestions for a late lunch or early dinner while visiting the studios? I do not want to eat at any of the in-park restaurants. (Bad experiences at all of them).

What options do we have utilizing boat that connects MGM to the resorts? We will not have park hoppers, and we DO plan to return to the park after our meal.

Thanks!

You could go to the ESPN club at the BWI, Beaches and Cream at the BC or maybe try the Captain's Grille at the YC.

Claire ;)

There are sme great choices that are only a quick boat ride away at the Boardwalk. Some of our favorites are Yachtsman's Steakhouse, Spoodles, or Flying Fish (if you are looking for more expensive choices), or Beaches and Cream, ESPN Zone or Big River Grille for sit-down, but less expensive choices.

Have fun!

if you are willing to pay for nice table service, there is the Flying Fish at the Boardwalk.

Also Cape May at BC. You can also check out the Swan/Dolphin. I've heard Shula's is the ultimate steak place. Depending on when you are visiting, there is also Spoodles which will be changing soon.

I agree with going to the Boardwalk. The boat ride is always relaxing to us after some Park time! I haven't tried Flying Fish (plan to try it next trip!). We really enjoyed Spoodles. For a less expensive option, definitely Beaches & Cream especially if it ends up being a late lunch rather than dinner.

We plan on taking the boat to the Yacht Club and eating at the Captain's Grille.

The Cape May Cafe is always good and one we do almost every trip.
Flying fish is very good. The only thing would be most people we saw when we ate there were a bit more dressed up than coming right from the parks.
Big River Grill is on the Boardwalk and good.
We LOVED Shula's but once again, very expensive and would not wear park clothes to it.
Beaches and Cream is great, but very small and may have a wait, but always fun to eat at.
Yachtsman Steakhouse is good, too.
There are so many choices in this area, you are sure to find something you will like.

cape may cafe is an awesome restaurant at Beach Club! we go there every trip! beaches in cream is a fun atmosphere also at Beach Club but you cannot make an ADR and sometimes it is a very long wait! we are trying the Captain's Grille at Yacht Club on our next trip and I am very excited for it because I have heard some great things about that restaurant...if you want more expensive I have also heard great things about Yachtsman Steakhouse...the only thing is that there is a dress code required there and that might be an issue with going in and out of the park! hope this helps! enjoy your trip!

Flying Fish is awesome! Or Cape May Clambake, we love them both

When we go to Studios we always take a boat over to Yacht/Beach club to have late lunch at Beaches and Cream. Always pretty good burgers (NOT the same as cs burgers) and ice cream, have yet to have a bad meal there. The roast beef sandwich and onion rings are good as well :)

Spoodles... if not, there is pizza you can buy by the slice if you want to.
