I'm trying to find a restaurant to eat at for dinner on January 10th after we are done at Hollywood Studios. I was originally going to book Ohana but after thinking about it that restaurants probably not for us. So I need to come up with something else, any suggestions? :confused3 I dont want anything in the park so suggestions for places close by to that park would be best.

Well, not in the park, but close by, could be something at the Boardwalk, or Beach Club. Maybe Cape May Cafe or Beaches & Cream?

Will you have park hoppers? We love to take the boat from DHS all the way down to EPCOT for dinner after a DHS day.

Kouzzina is wonderful! It's on the BoardWalk, and it's a Mediterranean restaurant created by Food Network star and Iron Chef Cat Cora. You could take the boat from DHS to Boardwalk and it is very close. You can even walk there if you want. We stay at BWV (our DVC home resort) and we love walking to DHS in the morning...it takes us about 15 minutes to walk, and we have 2 little kids.

Getting back to Kouzzina, the food there was amazing, and we found the prices to be very reasonable. The service was also fantastic. It was much quieter than a lot of the other Disney restaurants, but we were there at around 6pm. I'm not sure how it is later on in the evening. When we went there last year, I had a sampler entree with 3 different items. It included stewed chicken, pastitsio (Greek pasta dish) and a mini lamb burger (the size of a slider). Everything was tasty. DH had the lamb shank and he loved it. We had shared the spanakopita (spinach pie) for an appetizer and that was excellent. We shared baklava for dessert and it was delicious. And the kids were happy because they had the usual children's fare on the children's menu. Highly recommended! :thumbsup2

I agree with just walking over to the Boardwalk area...Kouzzina is great as mentioned, but also don't forget about the awesome restaurants in the Swan/Dolphin...Il Mulino, Kimonos, Shula's and especially Bluezoo are all highly recommended and worth every penny.

Don't know how close it is but we always go with Olivia's at Old Key West when we want a good dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. We've also never been turned away from a walk up reservation there.

Thanks for the suggestions. We are already doing Cape May and we dont like Greek food so Kouzzina is off the table too. I was thinking of just catching the bus to downtown and eating at Cap'n Jacks. We've never been there and I have wanted to go for a while.

I don't think you can catch a bus from DHS to DTD (or to DTD from any park for that matter). You will either need to get on the SSR bus and walk to DTD or walk/boat to BWI and catch theirs.
