Since I'm on maternity leave until October, we decided to actually use our Economic Stimulus check to help the economy and head to Disney for free dining! (I'm a teacher, and we don't usually get to go during this time of the year.) At the time of the trip, we'll have a 7 yr. old DD, 4 yr. old DS and 5 month old DS (yes, we're a little nuts). We're looking at making ADRs, and we're a little stuck. We want to hit several character meals, but would also like to eat at least on or two normal TS meals as well. We've had good luck with Disney in the past in terms of dining, and I've looked at lots of food reviews here on the DIS, but we were hoping to try some different things. So far, we know we want:
* Chef Mickey's (a must-have with our older two, and a favorite from when I went as a kid) for dinner
* Crystal Palace for breakfast (never done before, but something we've wanted to do)
* We're also thinking of a dinner at Whispering Canyon (couldn't get in last time). We've been to Mama Melrose's the last two times we were down, and really enjoyed it, so we could go there again. But we'd really like to try something new.
* We've hit both CRT and Akershus for DD in the course of the last two trips, and we think we're princessed-out. Don't tell DD, though!
I guess my concern is that we need to go to places that can tolerate three young children! My two older kids are used to eating out, but they can still get cranky when they are overly tired from a day at the parks. I don't know how my youngest will do, of course (he's a whole two weeks old at this point). Anyone have any suggestions for us? I need to make our ADRs before we're out of luck for the places we like! Thanks in advance!
