My best friend and I travel once a year on a Girls Trip and thought next February we would try somewhere other than Disney :lmao: ....

Ultimately we would like a 5 night, all-inclusive, beach place but I cant seem to get very far researching on the internet....

For one thing we would definitely prefer a non-stop flight from NY....we dont care where it is going just dont want to waste time changing plans or stopping. All the travel search engines need you to actually put in where you want to go which is taking forever!!!! (I know, I know we should just go to a travel agent right lol). I was thinking that we should book our flights as early as possible to keep the cost down.

Anyone have "suggestions" on a nice island-type all-inclusive...maybe if I start with suggestions from you guys it would cut-down on the time involved. Originally I was thinking Cozumel but there are no non-stops.

And for those of you from NY - any places like this that are non-stop!! I cant believe I cant find non-stop!! (except for Jetblue to Paradise Island but of course their schedule for February is not released yet so I really cant research that too much).

Well you can fly to Tahiti non-stop from New York. You can cruise or stay in a resort.

Oh I would LOVE a Disney cruise and so would my friend (in fact she asked about it again a few hours ago) but a cruise is something my husband and I are really looking forward to experiencing for the first time together.......

Is there anywhere in really south Florida that is HOT in February?

Most of south Florida will be HOT in feb. The temps may drop a little at night and there is an occasional cold front but really it is HOT here all the time. You can try a nice resort on the beach, theres Naples, Amelia Island, The Keys, and Marco Island. Maybe somewhere in the Bahamas or Jamaica??

There are many all-inclusives in Mexico. Either Cancun or Playa del Carmen (just south of Cancun). Cancun will be the more party scene and very americanized. Playa will be more relaxed and more European. We stayed at the Iberostar Del Mar in Playa--very nice. Riu resorts are another popular chain that's supposed to be really nice. Check out www.tripadvisor.com

I agree w/ Beth. We are from Philly and we have a non-stop to Cancun. It's only a three hour flight. We are staying at the same place Beth did. There are tons of all-inclusives in Mexico, Jamaica, etc. Have fun planning.

we leave in two weeks :cool1:

I cant believe that NYC with three major airports within like 25 miles of each other does not have any direct flights...at least not any I can find and believe me I have been trying!!

I will definitely look into these...thanks for your reply and have a great time

There are so many all inclusives that you can get to from NY. Jamaica, Cancun, Dominican Republic, Florida, Puerto Rico, Bahamas Delta, American, Jetblue fly nonstop to these locations.

Could it be that flights arent listed yet for February? There could be charters too. Check with a tour operator/travel agent for the best prices.

I bet that's the case. Our flight changed times twice since we booked last Sept.It was always a non-stop though.

We have been doing ladies only trips for about 5 years now. We have done 2 cruises and the last three were in St Thomas. A quick flight from Newark and you are there. We always go over the Superbowl week and the weather is just prefect. We are lucky enough to stay at the Ritz Carlton Residences and it is just beautiful. It has a gorgeous gourmet kitchen and we eat only dinner out. Perfect

I have been to many islands, Bahamas, Jamaica, Turks anc caicos, Dominican republic and a few ohers. By far the funnest was Jamaica. I liked the Lido resorts. Grand Lido Braco was great.
I have also been to playa del carmen and can highly reccomend royal hideaway playacar, its an adults only all inclusive resort that is very upscale casual. Top Notch. I was very impressed and will return some day. YOu can actually bid on the resort on sky auction. Which I love.
I try and steer away from the resorts that cater to kids when I am on an adult only vacation it makes it a bit nicer and you can let your hair down a bit more.
