OP, recalling our youngest child visited WDW when she was 8 months old. Its about visual sights/colors and sounds/music. Its A Small World was a favorite and we rode it so much I could not get the song out of my head for weeks after our trip. Characters were also a hit (Mickey Mouse and Winnie The Pooh gang), which brings up the other end of experiences. Some children at this age may find characters frightening, so this can be an x factor event. Additionally, loud sounds are not good, so avoid rides with burst of noise (or fireworks)or ones with very loud sound levels as their hearing is still developing and these experiences can cause harm or be frightening too based upon the db level.
