Suggestions At VWL!!!!

Hi everybody!! I recently booked a four night stay in a studio at VWL for early June. I will be going with just one of my children, a six year old son. This will be our first trip as DVC members!! Any suggestions of must dos???? I am up for any ideas about eating entertainment etc. while at the Lodge!! Thanks in advance for your kind suggestions!!!

Both of you might enjoy a meal at the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Lodge. Go on one of the guided tours of the Lodge Lobby, take the boat, instead of the bus, to the Magic Kingdom. If you like water sports, rent a "water mouse" and ride around Bay Lake. I am sure other folks will have lots of suggestions for you as well.

Be aware that there is no direct bus to MK from VWL. The boat is your only option for transportation to MK unless you are driving yourself or want to ride to another park or the TC&C and transfer. The boat is a nice ride but often crowded when MK closes for the night.

Go to Fort Wilderness. They have a petting zoo. They also have a campfire and a movie every night.
