So due to circumstances out of my control, my February trip with loved ones has turned into a solo trip for me. I am pretty nervous (and disappointed) about it but trying to look at it as a fantastic opportunity to have a relaxing time and do what I want.
I am staying 7 nights at AoA and have a 4 day non-hopper pass. I have already made my FP+ for my park days and plan to have some down time at the resort. I am trying to decide what to do on one of my non-park days.
Options:
Backstage Magic Tour-7 Hour tour of all 4 parks w/lunch included. I did Keys to the Kingdom a few years ago and thought it was great. I also think I would feel less weird about doing this on my own.
OR
Universal Studios-This is what was planned when my brother and sisters in law were going and I was really excited about it. We went to IoA in 2012 and I loved the Harry Potter stuff and was so looking forward to seeing the new additions. I am just wondering if I will not have as much fun being by myself. (Weird as it is, this is not a worry for me at the Disney Parks...not sure why
)
Both options are pretty close in price, so that doesn't really come into play when I think of pros and cons for each.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has ideas of other things to do on a non-park day, I am fully open to suggestions.
Thanks,
Kristi
