Suggestion on Port Orleans

I would appreciate any input and suggestions. We are getting married at Disney in December. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge honeymoon suite!! Now we're thinking of extending our stay a couple more days! However we'll stay at a moderate like Port Orleans or French Quarters? We've seen Riverside but not French Quareters. Any suggestions of rooms or certain areas? Thanks lots!

FQ is wonderful. It was just referbished and it's so nice and compact. Even the furthest out bldng. is no more than a 5min walk. Bldng's 2,3 and 5 are probably the closest to the main bldng and pool though. The bus service is excellent - FQ does share buses with POR but the buses pick up at FQ first before heading over to POR and out to the parks so it's easier to get a seat during the busier seasons - and FQ is also the first to be dropped off coming back from the parks too. You can use the pools and ammenities at both POR and FQ as they are sister resorts and there's a boat to DTD that will also take you back and forth between the 2.
