suggestion for moderate?

hi all we are going down in nov -- my dh and i have been fighting over hotels -- he wants WL, i say cont -- so to save money we are going mod and staying more days!! any suggestions for a good one -- we have never stayed at one? we have a 5 year old and a 7 month old (at time of travel) im leaning towards carribean -- thanks for the ideas!!

I love CSR! Check out my CSR website below for lots of pics and info. Good luck planning! If you want a resort with less walking beacuse you have two young ones, you may want to look at POFQ.

Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside are great. Check out All Ears Net here http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/faq_hot.htm They have lots of information and pictures of all the resorts. It always helps to be able to see a resort and read detailed descriptions before making a decision.

Yes, CSR has elevators in every building. That is where the ice machines and soda machines are located. Not sure about POR or POFQ or CBR.

My all time fav resort is WL.... that said, the only mod resort that makes me happy is Port Orleans - Riverside. Its the only one that makes me feel at home after having been at Wilderness Lodge several times. BTW, we did the same thing... stayed at a mod to have a longer vacation.

Yes, CSR is Coronado Springs and CBR is Caribbean Beach. CBR's main pool will be closed beginning in January 2008 for 6 months but they do have quiet pools.

stayed at CBR during Hurricane Frances - Did not like it at all, and the storm had nothing to do with it.
we have stayed at POR, POFQ & CSR, they, by far, have much better design and layout compared to the CBR, I believe the CBR was the "first" moderate built, I imagine Disney learned lots from this.....we were shocked that the front desk-check in was in a completely separate building than anyhting else.
I vote CSR - we looovvveee this one, although there is some walking required, there are always CM's on golf carts waiting to pick up tired folks.
I vote POFQ - we love this one too, but, it is like comparing apples to oranges when looking at with CSR, it is sooo much smaller, to get anywhere is less than a 5 minute walk.
