I am in the process of planning the itinerary for our first trip to WDW in November. I am trying to plan to eat in the parks on some days and understand that I have to make Priority seating reservations for any restaurants that I want to go to. Can anyone give me suggestions for good restaurants in the main parks (MK, AK EpCot and MGM) that would have a children's menu?
Thanks

Some of the ones that my family has enjoyed are:

AK: Donald's Breakfastasaurus
EPCOT:Garden Grill , Rose & Crown
MGM: Sci-Fi, 50's PrimeTime and Hollywood & Vine

We have never done sit-down food at MK.

Some of the Counter service places we have liked are:

MK: Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill's
Epcot:Sunshine Food Fair and Electric Umbrella
MGM:Pizza Planet

Hope thet helps.

unless you are going the week of Thanksgiving, you probably won't really need to make PS's (although we like having them) for all but the high demand places like Ciderella's royal Table.

Here is where we like to eat. We have 2 kids who were 2 1/2 and 10 on the first trip and 5 1/2 and 13 on the second.

AK....
Early breakfast in room
latest breakfast seating(our lunch) ...Donald's breakfastosaurus
Snack aroud mid day (frozen bananna's are my favorite)
The Rainforrest Cafe(AK) or Boma (AKL) for dinner

MK
we spend 2 days here
what/where we eat depends on if there is a night time parade
No night parade...
Breakfast Ciderella's Royal table
Late lunch at Pecos Bills for the day time parade, view parade from PB's.
Dinner ... snack (dole whips, yum) then a healthy snack in the room, or food court if we are still hungry

With night parade
Crystal Palace early lunch
Peco's Bills again for the night parade

MGM
Lunch
Primetime Cafe
Dinner ... Mama Melrose (fantasmic dinner package)

Epcot
Breakfast ... snack in room
Morrocan Rest for lunch
Biergarten for Dinner

other favorites are
'Ohana's at poly for dinner, usually after a Water Park day.
Fulton's Crab house on the day we arrive, or the day we go to Disney Quest.

Magic Kingdom:
Crystal Palace
Cindy's
Liberty Tree Tavern

EPCOT:
Garden Grill

MGM:
50's Primetime
Sci-Fi Theater

Animal Kingdom:
Tusker House

Although the 1900 is not in a park, this is a great buffet.

October 2002 was my second time in WDW, but my first time with a child (3 1/2 years old). All of the restaurants have kids' menus, so dining is easy no matter where you go!

Magic Kingdom:

We've only tried Tony's and we weren't all that impressed. I know lots of people like it, but we found it expensive ($18 for a plate of spaghetti and meatballs!) and the food wasn't that great. Take it from an Italian girl, this is not the greatest Italian food. I will say though, that this is the only bad restaurant review you will get from me. Most of the Disney restaurants are terrific, no matter what the price range.

EPCOT:

The San Angel Inn in Mexico is wonderful (both the food and the atmosphere)! Request a table by the water when you get there.
The Restaurant Marrakesh is also terrific. You feel like you're a world away , because the food is exotic and delicious and the decor is so authentic. If you go for dinner, there is a belly dancer (such fun!).

MGM:

Dinner at Mickey's 50's Prime Time Cafe is an experience we will always remember! The place is broken up into many seating areas, each decorated as if it were a kitchen in the 50's, with knick-knacks and a TV at every table. The waitstaff are your "cousins" who are babysitting for you while Mom and Dad are out for the night - they take good care of you and make sure you eat your veggies! The food is authentic diner comfort food, delicious and plenty of it, and the antics are lots of fun!

Also, most of the counterservice has good food, too. Our travel agent's advice was great: eat a hearty breakfast, very light lunch, and a nice dinner - and when you're in the Magic kingdom, save room for an ice cream sundae at the ice cream parlor (I forget the name!) that's across the street from Casey's Corner (if you stand outside facing Casey's, Cinderella's Castle will be on your right).

Have a great time!!!

In the AK we love Donald's Breakfastasaurus (obviously for breakfast :-)), MK the Liberty Tree Tavern gets our vote. In Epcot, San Angel Inn is good and at MGM 50's Prime Time was also good (and fun).

DD (4) and I found the PLAZA at MK to be a great retreat from the chaos at the park. It is a nice, comfy sit down place for lunch to relax and have a good sandwich (I had a wrap which was very good & dd had grilled cheese, she loved that). It took about 45 minutes from the time we sat til we left. If you're not in a rush to see everything in the park I highly recommend this restaurant.

A favorite of ours at EPCOT is GG. Either lunch or dinner is good here. The character interaction is great. Service is USUALLY good and the food is delicious.

We like both H&V and Mama Melrose at MGM. Of course now that H&V has canceled it's character meals don't think we could do that, dd would just go crazy eating there without the characters. We enjoyed dinner at Mama Melrose in December. I had a flatbread pizza which was delicious and huge (only ate half of it). DD had chicken nuggets. Service was good and so was the wine:p

We had a good lunch at RFC at AK but it took forever to get our food and the service was just as slow.

All of the above restaurants have children's menus or children's selections even at the buffet or family style restaurants... (mostly all the restaurants at WDW do).

Our favorites are:
MK: Cindy's and Crystal Palace
MGM: was Hollywood and Vine character meal
Epcot: Garden Grill
Animal Kingdom: Donald's was pretty good

MGM- Mama Melrose or 50s Prime Time
EC - Le Cellier, Mitsokoshi Teppanyaki, Germany

All the restaurants at WDW have children's menus
