I started Atkins last Friday and have lost 4 pounds over the weekend. I'm very motivated right now, but this is killing me.
I never thought of myself as being addicted to sugar, but I guess I was/am. I am going through somewhat of a withdrawal period right now. I never stopped to think about everything that we eat that has sugar in it even though it's not sweet.
I'm figuring that it will take a few more days before I'm not hungry all the time. I am eating as much as before, only not the high-carb stuff, so I know that I'm not hungry, but my stomach doesn't understand that yet.
My first goal is to lose enough to have a black dress that I own cut down for my office Christmas party, and then I want a new tankini for next summer... that I'll look good in.
