Best way to avoid the rain is hit the ground running as early as possible. One thing about Florida is that you can just about set your watch to the 3 p.m. shower. It will at that point rain and then stop somewhere around 4. Best way around it is if there's EMHs that day to schedule a break around 2:30, just beating the traffic back to the hotels. Also, schedule your ADRS around 5, so that by the time you're done, you can head back to the parks after the rain has let up.
Of the four parks, EPCOT is generally best on rainy days since 95% of their attractions are not rain-affected.

This is supposed to be the vacation of a lifetime. First time for me, DH, 4 kids (ds8, ds6, dd4, ds4) - to celebrate my 40th. Now I'm seriously considering changing plans to later this year, or even next year [currently scheduled for June 10-18]. Am I crazy to go? Crazy to reschedule? I don't mind a little rain, but I just can't imagine having fun with 4 young kids while being dripping wet for a week! And I certainly don't want to pay $$$ to spend time in a hotel room hoping for clearing skies. HELP!!!!!!
