One of my dogs insists on laying on a blanket or pillow on the actual bed. She's only 20 pounds so the extra comfort is clearly necessary lol

I was thinking the same thing! Our dog has been known to jump on our bed and toss all the pillows off the bed and then push the covers back to find a comfy place. Sometimes she goes around the house and does it to all the beds. We haven't quite figured out what gets into her because other times she's perfectly happy sitting on top like your dog is.

Mine will actually bypass the sherpa comforter and go straight for the velvet and silk quilt on our bed. She also seems to know when the mattress warmer is on because I will find her right on the bed. My dog is so sweet, I let her stay...
