Hello everyone,
Well, it took 3 hours for us to finally get into our room at Port Orleans. Our first time staying on property, wouldn't you know it. They were slammed. went to the food court and had lunch after we checked in. It was great. Well, after 3 hours of waiting, I spoke with a manager, and he got us right in to our a room. It is beautiful! Nice King room, riverview. And there was a beautiful gift basket with goodies from the Disney Florist when we went to our room.
Nice surprise!
After getting settled, we went for a refreshing dip in the nice "warm" pool. UGH! It was'nt so bad after we got in. It actually felt great after we got OUT and the breeze blew. That was refreshing...LOL!
Went back to the room, showered and got ready to venture out. We made a quick ADR for dinner in Germany. This place is special as this is where we had dinner on a singles trip, August 1983, with our church. Afterwards we got stuck at the bridge just before china, and started chatting. So after dinner tonight, we got out just in time to get a great seat for Illuminations. Than afterwards we stopped at our spot at the bridge and had our picture made. We do this every wedding anniversary. Corny huh? Oh well. It is our kissing spot
Then we went to DTD as hubby had some special shopping to do. I went to the Toy Store and got our new Pal Mickey.I showed CM my certificate I got online as well as my AP and got my free pin and special passholder T=shirt" for my pal Mickey. It is just to cute!
I also got hubby another gift, a Steamboat Willie puzzle.
Then we came back to our resort. And now I'm up at 4AM 'cause I can't sleep! Crazy I know. Guess I'm excited about our big day for today. We're gonna celebrate our Magic this year at MK. Complete with our matching T=shirts and B&G mickey ears and B&G Lanyards with honeymoon/lovey dovey pins. We're gonna be so dog gone cute.
So anyhoo, that's what we've been up to, and I'll update saturday night about our big day.
Blessings,
Winnie
