successful switch to BCV at 7 months/ question about linked dvc ressies

I resisted the urge to call MS yesterday because I knew they would be very busy but called today. We had 2 days at BCV 2 bedroom/2 queens already reserved and I was trying to switch 3 days at OKW over to BCV for the first week in April. It was available (even the 2 queens) but they had to leave me with 2 separate confirmation numbers and link the ressies. They said I should not have to change rooms. Has anyone else been successful with this? If so do you have to go to the front desk between the two ressies? Thanks.

The info you were given is correct. As long as the reservations are linked, you should not have to change rooms. They often do the same thing when a stay is booked partially on points and pay cash for the rest.
