Moved my reservation for January from SSR to BLT at 8 am today, a one bedroom lake view! So excited. I know some people hate BLT, but we love it. Love the walk to MK, the ease of the monorail to Epcot and the great bus service to HS and AK. Now the planning really starts!

Actually now I have modified the reservation again and added a day. When I told my husband it was for 4 nights, he said "only 4? Why not 5? " Great, and the 5th night was available, too!

Woo Hoo! We moved our January reservation to BLT too. We are doing a 2 bdrm lake view. I can't wait as we haven't stayed there yet.

Woo Hoo! We moved our January reservation to BLT too. We are doing a 2 bdrm lake view. I can't wait as we haven't stayed there yet.

We loved being able to just walk to MK from BLT. You go through security during the walk, then you get to bypass the huge security line that everybody else has to go through. Plus it is just a very short walk to either the monorail or the bus pickup. The staff at BLT was also awesome and we were never bothered by mousekeeping. We saw them most mornings when we left for the day and they must have checked our villa shortly after we left. Our villa was in great shape, too with a nice lake/pool view. The Top of the World lounge is great for cocktails and/or fireworks viewing.

Congrats! Who cares how popular a resort is as long as it works for you and your family and love it! I personally LOVE SSR. I find it to be a great mix of relaxation and fun. My kids love the pool and we dont mind the travel time to get to the parks. So congrats on your reservation!
