Success rate of gatting connecting rooms at POP?

My friend is plannig a trip for a few days the first week of Jan., and she is requesting 2 connecting rooms, her kids are 12 and 15. I know it is marathon time, so just wondering if she will be likely to get her request. They will be staying mid-week, not weekend.

We stayed at Pop Century over the MLK holidays this past Jan 13-19 and we had no problem getting connecting rooms. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I booked a room for friends (since I could get the AP discount rate for them) and the CM automatically started talking about connecting rooms. I thanked her, but said it wasn't really necessary........ and we got them. Hope it works out as well for you, and you have a great trip!

I may be having a senior moment, but for some reason I remember another DIS'er mentioning that every other room at the Pop is a connecting room. If I am remembering that correctly, I'd say your chances were very good.
