When staying in a studio for one or more nights, then upgrading to a two-bedroom, I have heard that you should ensure that MS notes the other reservation on each, and requests a lock-off, aiming for "picking up" the adjoining one-bedroom unit and not having to move.

My question: Who has actually done this and were you successful or did you have to move to a new unit?

We have done this twice both times at the BWV. went in a 1 br for 1 week then went to the 2 br the second week. CM gave us the choice of staying put with a view of the Swan or moving with the first week a BW view and then to a pool view. Chose not to move and the view from my room was great. Could see and here the fantasmic fireworks from my balcony.
