Just last week, we added a night in FL before our transatlantic cruise, and felt lucky to get a one bedroom in OKW. I have requested a first floor or elevator building for mobility issues.

I have mostly avoided OKW because of the stairs, but the few times I was at OKW, have been successful with the request.

If you have the similar request at OKW, do you usually find yourself on first floor, or in a building with an elevator?

Fortunately, every time we've requested it we've gotten first floor. Unfortunately, the only times we've gotten elevator building were twice-once when our first room had major problems and the manager moved us, and the second time was when we had a HA GV, and the majority of those are in the elevator buildings. However, every time we go to OKW, I worry whether we'll get our requested first floor, and although we have, I still worry. DH loves OKW, but I'm about to tell him we have to consider getting HA villas, just so I don't worry so much beforehand. Chances are you'll be fine, but I do understand your concern.

I've requested an accessible room before and gotten it. This the kind of request that will be prioritized, especially if you note it is for accessibility.
