Success getting 4th FP+ for MSEP?

I'm weighing whether to burn one of my 3 FP+s and get MSEP for a day ranked "6" for crowds on Touringplans.com. I thought it would be useful to have a thread through the summer where people can report whether FP+ is offered for MSEP as an available option for your 4th FP. If so, which day and what time of day were you at the kiosk? It sure would be nice to have some other options through the day.

What are we seeing so far?

I wish I could get it an option for one of my three FP+s for my trip in 3 weeks!!!! Here's hoping they open the booking window for the parades soon.

MSEP, FoF or Wishes? Any lucky ones out there? Or, alternatively, have you been in the parks, tried and failed to get a 4th FP for a show or fireworks? Please do tell.

Since 4/28, guests have been eligible to add more FPs after they use their first 3. However, you must get that 4th FP at an in-park kiosk currently. You can manage (change) it on the app, but must get it initially at a kiosk. Once you use that you can get a 5th, etc.

I didn't try at MK but I was able to get a 5th FP for Illuminations at Epcot around 3:30

great for Illuminations! Someone on another thread wonders whether they hold back spots for day guests from the MDE advance pool.

Any more first hand experience out there?

Yesterday at about 7 PM we got a FP for the second MSEP although it was actually just a filler and given to us without requesting and not the 4th FP. But we were just choosing FP's for that evening at MK.

Yep! And today we went to Universal but I had booked evening FP's for Epcot tonight and was thinking of switching to MK. Both MSEP and Wishes were available when I looked at 3:15 PM.

What can I say - we're late bookers!

Sounds like you lucked out on crowds. Or maybe all this planning we DISers do is overkill. LOL! Glad you're having such great luck.

It is low crowds right now during the week going by ride waits (although the parks feel pretty crowded) and this is my 3rd trip with FP + although first where that is the only FP system. I've consistently booked the night before or day of and felt fine with availability. Tiering etc doesn't make us happy but availability for everything except A&E is good and we'll keep doing it this way until something shows us we need to change. And we were legacy FP users with DH's aversion to lines but love of the rides.
