Subtle mention of coming FP+ improvements

It was a good article even though the spin from a few that were quoted makes me dizzy. Popular on fan sites? Supervast numbers of people like it? OK.

At least Iger appears a little more logical:

I guess there are ways they can add and make it "look" like they're adding more.

Tier MK after 7DMT and allow 4 there?

Up it to 4 or more across the board in the off-season?

Add more cheap capacity like Meet and Greets and up it?

Increase FP distro percentages and make SB an all day event?​

Now they've got it in the Press, they'll probably have to do something. Hard to see how it will be greatly beneficial during the high season since the number of deck chairs they'd be re-arranging is the same.

I have felt all along that they would add another selection in conjunction with tiering the MK when the Mine Coaster comes on board. I guess we'll know the answer to that pretty soon.

I don't see them adding FP to more meet & greets though. That really requires a specific sort of physical setting to allow them to do that. And I don't see them adding more construction to accomplish it. Maybe they'd try to add it at Pete's Silly Sideshow, but they aren't set up to optimize it either and I have no idea where a second line would go.

And I don't see them increasing FP numbers in any big way. I think every day since they started FP times enforcement has been about finding out the max number they could run through FP every day and they are doing that now. I mean, I see reports of 70-90% FP. Go much higher and standby will probably start rioting.

I do agree that maybe we'll see them fiddling at the margins, maybe allowing more in the slower seasons or some such thing.

They can't make the system they currently have work, so no, I hope they don't add more complications to the system.

In any beta testing you change variables to see how things react and results change. Sometimes you need to manipulate the variables yourself in order to make this happen. Don't be fooled that just because you see long SB lines for POC that it isn't "working".

Sorry, unlike the FP+ supporters, I don't point to ONE ride (TSM) and say the system works or doesn't.

There is more than one thing that doesn't work in the MG/FP+ triangle, starting at the very bottom ~ MDE. It's a mess and always has been. Until they get it to work correctly, adding other things into the mix is only going to spell more disaster.

No, Disney should have gone dark on legacy at sunset and rolled out FP+ in it's final form the next morning.

Disney is unique in that they didn't/can't foresee the obvious, while simultaneously capable of addressing changes while the plane is in flight.
