Substitutions at Garden Grill

We are thinking of eating at Garden Grill for the candelight processional package. With advance notice, of course, do you think that the garden grill would be able to substitute the potatoe caserol for something else, such as regular mashed potatoes or a baked potatoe for one person in our party? We would need a dish with no cheese. And if this would be possible, how far ahead should i call to make this request? I know the standard is min 24 hours, but should I call much futher out?

I spoke with a female chef there, and like a lot of WDW chefs, she was dying to impress with something not on the menu.

I don't think that it will be difficult at all, based on your request! I would make a note when making your ADR and then call 48 hours in advance. Also remind them when you check in at the podium.
