Does anyone know a product for a substitute for salt? Is it Dash or something like that?

Morton Salt makes a line of salt substitute simply called "Morton Salt Substitute." It's available in plain or seasoned.

AlsoSalt is another type and their website offers a free sample packet.

However, be aware that the potassium chloride found in many salt substitutes can be very dangerous if you're on certain medications...including something as simple as ibuprofen. It's always recommended to consult a physician before taking a salt substitute.

Use a salt-substitute. It will contain potassium instead of sodium. Use less or the food get bitter. They even make chips now that use potassium instead of sodium. Potassium chloride costs more than sodium chloride, so that is why it is not used often.

That's true, but potassium chloride isn't necessarily better for you. In fact, it can be lethal if you're on certain medications. That's why it's important to consult a doctor first.

Mrs. Dash is the better option. My mom uses salt substitute and this is what she uses.
