"Subject" text disappears..!?!?!?

Every time I post a reply on any thread, after the statement "Thank you for posting....." comes up, the screen displays my newest post. However, my subject heading (text) does not appear. Then, I have to go into "Edit" and retype text in my "Subject" box. What gives????

It's a bug in the software. Just don't type in the subject box.

I have no idea. We're not involved in the planning. We usually find out when something new shows up.
