Subconcious Crushes.

Okay guys I really think i'm reading wayy to far ino this but here is my story. I've liked this guy for forever now, and i've told him. He never responded. He's my best friend.

Anyways. He'll do things every once in a while that I think hint that he likes me... but I could be reading too far into it. I need a true opinion so I came to you.

Scenario number 1: We're at the computer just him and I, and I was in the chair. Instead of telling me to move *which he could have* he reaches around me and types.

Scenario number 2: He sits next to me and starts leaning back in his chair and holds on to my chairs arm-rest. When he moves his arm, I put mine on the armrest. He comes back and pushes my arm off, I look at him and he quickly reacts with a " Oh sorry, I need to keep myself from falling."

Scenario number 3: We hang out alot. Like a.l.o.t. but that could be just because we're friends.

What do you guys think? Is it subconcious? Is it because he likes me? What? I'm so confused!

Well, I did. I emailed him before. But idk that was like 3 weeks ago. Should I approach him about it again.

Yes defantly, but don't come on to strongly or it might freak him out...

Be subtle...

Ask him if he remembers the email you sent him, what did he think about it...

Don't be like "So I totally know you've been flirting with me! You have the hots for me dont you. DONT YOU!!!"

I've had a friend in a similar situation, and honestly, you may just be reading a little too much into it. My real question is this, Do you know if he has recieved the email for sure? and has just not said anything about it? Or perhaps he hasn't read the email at all and you guys are such close friends that acting that way is normal?

I'm tototally just guessing on this, but maybe he's read the email, and knows you like him but hasn't said anything because it may compromise your friendship? Or he does like you and just doens't know what to do?

Or he has not read the email at all, and has no idea that you like him?

It all depends on the email, my best friend sent off an email to a guy that she liked, he never read the email at all. Because apparnetly he never checks his email so, she thought she got rejected when in fact he liked her too just never got the said email.

In whichever case, bring it up with him. But subletly, like maybe "so, um, have you checked your email recently?" and go from there.

Thank you. Thank you all. PLEASE KEEP COMING WITH THE INPUT About the email. I had my friend ask him about a week and a half ago about it. Apparentally she asked him why he didn't respond and he said either " I don't know" or " I didn't want to." It was lost in translation over the phone with my friend.

Subtlety or however you spell it is always good. I wouldn't go for anything less. He's very intelligent so it could be that he thinks it'd compromise our friendship... but I don't think so. Thank you guys so much for this. please keep advice coming.

Oh yeah. I might mention i'm fourteen 15, in october and he's 15, 16 in march. But I don't think the age is a problem. Last girlfriend he had was 17 and he was 15.

No. I thank you and Amodolphin. Its true advice and that's what i'm asking for. Keep it coming. I'm thinking about it. I spend all day with him tomorrow for theatre but, we'll see.

I'd really like more advice guys if you have it.
